My test run after the leg injury that has prevented me from getting out in the woods for almost a month. My leg did pretty well. I was a little worried if I would be able to get back up after kneeling down to pose for the self-portrait that you see here, but the leg held up fine.
This was also a welcome taste of fall in its early stages. The light was as harsh as the reflections in the water were sharp. But a beautiful day and some nice images. I have been in the same location many times, and I never know if will be generous or a dud. This was one of the better visits.
