We had tons of snow this winter, and unlike most winters, it stayed on the ground for more than a month. And yet, this picture taken out my front door is the only snow picture I took this winter worth sharing. There are several reasons for this, but they all amounted to this: my motivation to go out was nonexistent. Even when I did go out, my state of mind was such that I couldn’t see the compositions. One day I walked for more than 5 miles through a snowy landscape and didn’t take a single picture. It was all just white monotony to me.

This picture of our car covered in snow, draped in blue light from our Twinkly Christmas light chain will have to stand as a sole reminder of the snowiest winter since 2011.
