My Top 10 Woodland Images From the Winter

This last winter was not a very active season for me. It may be getting a little harder each year to convince myself that the the leafless, gray forest landscape is just as exciting as any other time of year. It’s not. Sure, you can find the occasional banger, but you can also walk around for two hours without even getting your camera out of the bag.

But anyway, here are my best woodland shots from the past winter, in no particular order. I try to focus on pineforest as that stays about the same all year, but sometimes the bare, decidious trees line up in a nice way, too. The one showing a snowclad tree in golden sunlight, I consider among my best woodland shots ever.
